Alterations & Repair

You may need your trousers or jacket sleeves shortening or a new zip put into your skirt, trousers or jeans. The shoulders on your dress may not be quite right, if so, We will provide an excellent alteration service for you.

Most Repairs and Alterations require either seeing the garments construction, material or taking measurements when wearing an item. Often different options can be discussed at this time.

WEDDING, BRIDESMAID AND PROM DRESSES

Due to the many variations of fabric, alterations and construction, advice on prices can only be given after seeing the item, without obligation. This can be done at my work room or the customer’s local home. Please call to discuss your requirements.

SLEEVE SHORTENING

Jackets, coats, shirts, sportswear and blouses can all be shortened. In some cases sleeves can be lengthened

SHIRT/ BLOUSE ALTERATIONS

Shirts can be reduced in width and tapered to fit. Sleeves and hems can also be reduced.

REPLACEMENT ZIPS

Many types of zips can be replaced in jeans, trousers, skirts, dresses etc
